Chen Lizra
The Communication and Attraction Strategist
(BBA) – TED Speaker, award winning social entrepreneur, Somatic Intelligence life coach, best-selling author & professional dancer

Chen Lizra specializes in transforming people by changing behavioural patterns through bodywork. She offers Somatic Intelligence workshops, one on one sessions, training programs and keynote speeches, using the unique one-of-a-kind method she developed. She works with individuals, organizations and events in order to cause transformation through the body, through experiencing, changing patterns for the better.

Chen lived in Japan in an old traditional dojo studying zen meditation before becoming a computer animator. She worked for close to a decade at the top of the animation industry all across Canada on projects for VH1, TVA, Alliance Atlantis, Radical Entertainment and Mainframe Entertainment. This corporate creative world and the burn out she experienced in this industry, drove her to investigate the very human skills she now teaches in order to transform others.

She completed a Bachelor of business Administration and launched her 1st business in 2005 - the Cuban dance academy - which led her to travel frequently to Cuba. She spent over a decade investigating Cubans' emotional intelligence secrets through their body language -a culture that due to its unique circumstances did not lose the body-mind connection lost in the Western World- resulting in her unique somatic method. This experience also inspired her TED talk which gained to-date over 7 million views worldwide.

She was nominated twice for the "Women of Distinction" award in Vancouver, won an IPPY book award in NYC, was a Lululemon ambassador, was granted a Distinguished Talent residency in Australia for her international achievements in the arts, and was awarded the Women Add Value award for Humanitarian Leadership. She was featured in the New York Times, Cosmopolitan in the UK, EGO magazine in Spain, the Globe & Mail in Canada, Be Bold magazine in India, Lady Globes magazine in Israel, and more.
