Our first foray into film was booking James Danderfer to score the 2015 animated film Pixies, followed shortly thereafter by landing Charles Demers the role of Walter in the Netflix animates series, Beat Bugs. We also booked James Baylis to voice the character of Warren, Nowhere Man, in Beat Bugs.
These bookings inspired the creation of a division dedicated entirely towards film and television work, and thus Jeff Turner Film Group was born.
Charles Demers lent his voice to one of the main characters on Beat Bugs, a Netflix original animated series. His character Walter is the storyteller of the group, always theatrical, and a great source of comic relief in the show. Walter is one of the five main characters in the show, which is geared towards educating and inspiring children through creative storytelling and classic Beatles songs.
Beat Bugs Season One airs August 2016 on Netflix. For more information on Beat Bugs click here.
James Danderfer scored the 2015 animated feature film Pixies, directed by fellow Vancouverite Sean O’Reilly. Starring Alexa PenaVega, Christopher Plummer, and Bill Paxton, the film is a love story interspersed with the magic of pixies. For more information on Pixies click here.
James R. Baylis voiced the character of Warren, Nowhere Man on Beat Bugs, a Netflix original animated series. His character is an older, misunderstood blind worm that spends his time on the outskirts of town, trying not to frighten the citizens of Bug Village.
