Will Clements
Performer, educator, recording artist,
and published arranger


​Will Clements is a Vancouver-based performer, educator, recording artist, and published arranger. Described by CBC Music as a "fantastic and easy voice...", Will is an enthusiastic and energetic performer when on stage. Some of his musical highlights include a full scholarship towards the Drayton Harbour Festival Camp in Washington in 2016, performing at the French Quarter Festival in New Orleans in 2016, an Outstanding Ensemble Award for leading and arranging at the 2020 Vocal Impact Festival, a finalist with the 2021 Niagara Jazz Festival Youth Contest, and a performance residency as part of the 2021 Vancouver International Children's Festival with the FM Music program.

Will has shared the stage with many notable artists including, Dee Daniels, Maria Schneider, Peter Bernstein, Bria Skonberg, Dawn Pemberton, and more as part of his studies at Capilano University.

Coming early 2023, Clements will be releasing a new album of original material, featuring many talented musicians from across North America, including Juno-nomiated bassist Jodi Proznick, and Juno award-winner Allison Au. This new exciting project will convey the hardships of Queer relationships as they relate to story telling within the realm of jazz composition and improvisation.

Recipient of the Greg Quan Prize in Music Education, as well as an Outstanding Practicum Award, Will continues to arrange music for various ensembles in his spare time following graduation from the UBC B.Ed program. He has served as a clinician for the West Vancouver Youth Band, Langley Fine Arts School, Carson Graham Secondary, and New Westminster Secondary Schools. He is very passionate about music education and is excited to pursue a career in this field.
