Ashley Robyn is a Vancouver-based composer, vocalist, audio engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and voice over actor. She completed a five-year intensive music and drama program at The Langley Fine Arts School, graduating with awards and scholarships in playwriting and musicianship. She continued her formal studies at Simon Fraser University, alongside private training in guitar with Miguel Paley (M.Mus., UBC/Berkeley) and classical voice with Robyn Klaasen (VAM).
Her professional music career began in 2008, working as a lead vocalist, backing singer, and songwriter across a wide range of Vancouver-based projects, including Fake Shark, The Boom Booms, Jack Garton, and Khari Wendell McClelland. She has toured extensively throughout Canada and internationally, performing at venues and festivals across multiple genres.
In 2023, Ashley co-wrote several songs for Larrikin Entertainment’s original musical WYRD, and in 2024 served as musical director, co-writer, and accompanist for comedian Jenny Hamilton’s solo project.
Her work also includes audiobook narration for Love Is an Action Verb by Laura Silverstein.
