Damonde is the first Canadian winner of America's largest comedy competition, The Seattle International Comedy Competition. The Globe and Mail has said "Damonde is perhaps this countries finest comedic story teller." He's appeared on HBO, HBO Max with Conan O'Brien, Comedy Central, NBC and has had one hour comedy specials on both CTV and the CBC. He is also a regular comedy contributor on CBC radio's The Debaters, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and Just For Laughs.
Damonde was also awarded the Gold Medal performance for top comedic act at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.
He currently is a touring member of The Snowed In Comedy Tour, the largest comedy tour in Canada. You can also hear him weekly on the hit podcast The MicroDose. His new comedy album Comic's Delight with 800 Pound Gorilla Records is available on all platforms.
Damonde has shared the stage with comedy legends, Robin Williams, Tim Allen and Bob Saget,
just to name a few. He has appeared in both film and television, is an accomplished screen
writer with two TV shows and one movie currently in development.
He can currently be seen in the movie A Dog's Way Home, and has his first feature film The Opener due for release in Spring of 2025.
