DJ One Love is available for dance parties, weddings and Corporate Events. Vancouver's best kept secret. DJ One Love is the world's only female DJ/vocalist in Reggae and Soul. During her show she spins the most popular songs from artists such as James Brown, Bob Marley, Jah Cure, Maxi Priest, Alicia Keys and many more. She will sing a couple of songs per set and add a horn section and percussionist upon request.
She recorded her first CD of original songs at Big Ships Studio in Kingston, Jamaica, with Grammy-nominated Jamaican singer, songwriter and producer Freddie McGregor. Released on McGregor's Big Ship Label for Teichicku Records in Japan, her re-make of Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing was a hit on the Japanese pop charts for six months. She has toured the world with the legendary Trenchtown stars The Wailing Souls and Pop Reggae sensation Big Mountain on the Reggae Sunsplash. Back in her hometown, Vancouver, this song selectress is available for your dance parties, weddings or Corporate Events... you will not stop dancing!
