Background
Born and raised in Vancouver, BC. Lou grew up listening to his parents 45’s including Paul Anka, Elvis Presley, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra, and popular Italian Songs. Lou was molded by watching shows such as Sonny and Cher, and Tony Orlando and Dawn. Lou was introduced to music very early in his life, and he started playing Guitar at age 7. At age 16, Lou won a few talent contests and from that point on wanted to make people of all ages happy through his music.
Musical Style
Over the years, Lou was in several classic Rock Bands but always came back to his roots. Lou truly is a soul inspired by the nostalgia and magic of yesteryear. Style - he is charismatic, and diverse, and sings from his heart. Lou possesses a wide range of music in his repertoire: rat-pack standards, legendary rock 'n' roll, contemporary dance hits/favorites, traditional Italian, and Latin/ballroom.
In 2006, Lou honed in on his craft by playing in a supper club in Vancouver. He quickly learned the Art of reading the crowd and playing what they wanted to hear. Complimented on his “Art” by Tony Orlando, who took in Lou’s show, and afterward, they sang together. The Best compliment ever from a music icon.
Accomplishments
Lou went on to record 3 CDs, which were called Ritmo Di Amore, Forget About It, and Lou’s Christmas cd. Then, between 2012 and 2017, he toured through Eastern Canada, Mexico, the United States, and Italy.
