Born and raised in Camrose, Alberta and now living in Vancouver, Paul Myrehaug lures his audience with charismatic charm, turns around and makes them laugh at things they know they shouldn’t. Fast wit at a slow pace leaves crowds in hysterics and begging for more.
Paul is described as a party-comic. His style is laid back and relaxed, he makes audiences comfortable and at ease in their soft seat theatre, casino club or local bar.
Paul has toured extensively from roughneck bars in Fort McMurray, Alberta to the Dominican Republic to performing for the US troops in Iraq, making him capable of bringing laughter and fun to anyone, anywhere.
After a second place finish in the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition in 2006 and winning The Comedy Network’s $25,000 Great Canadian Laugh Off in 2007, Paul solidified his status as one of Canada’s top touring acts.
Numerous festivals, television appearances and competitions followed, including two gala performances on CBC, Comedy Shorts on The Comedy Network, the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, tours of Iraq, Kuwait and Kosovo and a spot in the finals of the famous Boston Comedy Competition.
Paul tours internationally and has performed for hundreds of thousands of people live and millions of people on television.
